Medication Administration I

This comprehensive 14-hour course provides direct support professionals and caregivers with the knowledge and skills required to safely prepare, administer, and document medications through all approved DODD routes, including oral, topical, nasal, eye, ear, and rectal/vaginal. The course includes hands-on instruction, simulated practice, and legal/regulatory review. Perfect for beginners or those entering the healthcare field.

Medication Administration I – Renewal

Stay Current, Stay Competent.

A focused 2-hour refresher course for those who have previously completed Medication Admin I and need to renew credentials. This class includes updates in DODD regulations, best practices, and documentation procedures.

Medication Administration II – G/J Tube Training

Confidently Care for Medically Fragile Individuals.

This 4-hour training equips caregivers with the skills to administer medications and nutritional feedings through gastrostomy (G-tube) and jejunostomy (J-tube). The course also covers cleaning procedures and proper documentation. A 1-hour renewal is also available for experienced staff.

Medication Administration III – Diabetes & Insulin

Empowering You to Manage Diabetes with Care.

A specialized 4-hour training on diabetes management, focusing on symptom identification, blood glucose monitoring, and subcutaneous insulin injection. Participants learn proper documentation, insulin types, and emergency procedures. Offered by request.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

Certified Medication Aide (OBN Approved)

This 46-hour course, approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing, qualifies participants to administer medications under RN delegation in nursing homes and residential care settings. Includes 30 hours of classroom and lab instruction, plus 16 hours of clinical training at a skilled nursing facility. Prepares candidates for state testing and certification.

  • Bring two forms of identification: a valid government-issued photo ID and your Social Security card
